Body and soul

Since antiquity, the expression of the body has been seen as a reflection of the soul and its ideals. Judith Deschamps' an·other voice and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster's Endodrome seem to raise new questions. The emerging issues surrounding transhumanism constitute a new approach to this ancient relationship and push us to re-imagine it in new ways. 

Through a presentation of the two works currently on display at the Casino Luxembourg, mediator Chloé Sobczyk invites you to discover the developments that have marked the field of art around the relationship between body and soul.
