Idea in Hand

In the framework of the student fair display.ed on 27 and 28 February, and as part of the curatorial experimentation Boogie,, participants in the workshop Idea in Hand will develop alternative furnishing concepts for Casino Luxembourg. Organised and led by designer Charles Baudouin, the workshop is aimed at young and not-so-young alike and anyone interested in designing, drawing and preparing the production of furniture. 

Born in 1984 near Paris, Charles Baudouin studied at the École Supérieure d'Arts et Design in Reims, where he obtained a Diplôme National d'Arts Plastiques specialising in Design. After building up his professional experience as a freelance designer, notably in Parisian design studios, Charles set up his own company, High Tide, where he established a long-term collaboration with the Service National de la Jeunesse as an expert in non-formal education through workshops with young people. His creative work also continues through more personal projects involving the design of objects and graphics.
