As part of the 1 + 1 biennial, organised jointly by the Casino Luxembourg and the Fonds Kirchberg, the artist Benedetto Bufalino (born in 1982 in Décines; lives and works in Paris) was invited to submit a work for the plant labyrinth of the Kirchberg Central Park. The artist's approach consists of investing urban space, playing with the architecture of given places and offering, with his funny or poetic installations, an offbeat reinterpretation of reality.

For the Kirchberg Central Park, Benedetto Bufalino imagined the participatory installation Laby-Foot, a life-size football field inviting to play football ... in a plant labyrinth! Completely reinvented, diverted, this singular football field serves here as a space for experimentation and raises many questions about the rules of the game in force. With Laby-Foot, the round ball explores a new dimension: it gets lost and takes shortcuts in a space at the crossroads of the labyrinth and the football field.
