A Performative Writing Workshop (16+)
Join poet Elif San for a unique performative writing workshop for the final week of the My Last Will exhibition. Explore themes of legacy and impermanence through collaborative writing and performance exercises. Reflect on "What remains?" after we're gone by crafting goodbye letters, last wills, and unspoken words, while also experimenting with sound to express the inexpressible.
Through these exercises, participants will not only write but also bring their texts to life through performance. Utilizing the body and voice, we will collectively explore what remains of us in fleeting moments of expression. The workshop will culminate in a small group performance, offering an artistic ‘outlook into the future,’ as we close the exhibition with reflections on legacy, memory, loss, and expression.
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore this deeply personal yet universal theme in a space of collective creativity.
