Internship proposal at Casino Display
Contract: Internship in editorial graphic design (24 hours/week)
Duration: 11 weeks – from early September to mid-November 2024 (exact dates to be confirmed)
General description of the internship
Casino Display is a transdisciplinary space where the drive for experimentation encourages the creation of knowledge. During the 2023-24 academic year, two research projects took place at Casino Display, and the work conducted in these projects will be published in in-house produced publications. In collaboration with the Casino Display team and the publishing team, the intern will work on the layout and printing of these publications.
Tasks
- Graphic research, layout, corrections (text and images)
- Preparation of print files for risograph printing (if needed, an introduction to risograph printing can be given by the team of Casino Display)
- Printing, assembling, and binding (square back binding)
Profile
- Art school student (Master)
- Languages: good command of English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and French will be considered an asset
- Skills: Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
