Call for performers (m/f)
For a live performance as part of the Theatre of Cruelty group exhibition, organised by Agnès Gryczkowska, from 14 November 2025 to 15 February 2026.
In this context, Casino Luxembourg is looking for two performers (male and/or female) available during the day on 12, 13 and 14 November for a performance that is part of the work Une solitude vraiment terrible by Angélique Aubrit & Ludovic Beillard. Under the direction of the artists, the performers will be invited to perform slow movements in a site-specific installation reminiscent of a sewer. The performance will be filmed.
Requirements
- 1 performer between 155 cm and 165 cm tall
- 1 performer between 175 cm and 185 cm tall
- To be willing to wear a heavy costume, including a wooden headset provided by the artists;
- To be comfortable with performing in a closed, small and dark environment for extended
periods of time (approx. 3 hours) – not suitable for people with claustrophobia;
- To have the physical ability to move slowly and fluidly, including sitting, walking, lying down,
and bending knees.
Professional experience in the performance, theatre, or film industry is not required. However,
artistic sensibility will be valued and appreciated.

Schedule and duration of required presence
- November 12th (Wednesday): 8 hours
- November 13th (Thursday): 5 hours
- November 14th (Friday): 3 hours
Remuneration
500EUR including taxes for the three performances.
