Hong-Kai Wang – Music while you work

Hong-Kai Wang’s work is at the crossroads of political performance and social analysis.

Her installations, real soundscapes, are composed of sound effects, acoustic and vocal ambiences. Convinced by Hong-Kai Wang’s interest in the social context in Luxembourg, by her willingness to inscribe her artist’s project in it and by her vision of a concrete and collaborative work “on the ground”, the members of the jury – artists and professionals from the contemporary art world – selected her for the first spring residency at Casino Luxembourg. The process of the residency was documented in the form of a video entitled “Making of”. (DVD included in the catalogue)
