Enypnion夢: In Situ
A performance in three acts (30 min. each)
In Enypnion夢: In Situ, the boundaries between reality and the subconscious blur in a performance that unites opera, contemporary dance, and the depth of Japanese Noh Theatre. The title "Enypnion夢," combining ancient Greek and Japanese words for "dream", reflects the universal nature of this concept. The performance weaves a dreamscape where East meets West, blending Noh’s minimalism with the fluidity of contemporary dance and the lyricism of opera.
Guided by the idea that dreams connect us to the depths of the human psyche, Enypnion夢 uses ritualistic storytelling to explore myths, spirits, and the space between life and the spiritual world. Rooted in ancient tradition yet innovatively modern, it invites audiences on an ethereal journey.
Presented in situ at Casino Luxembourg, the space becomes part of the dreamscape, creating an immersive experience.
