Casino Luxembourg reaches out to audiences by introducing the itinerant work of art Even if it’s not true, it’s well found (2023) by artist David Bernstein (born 1988; lives and works in Brussels and Amsterdam).
Through this work, the art mediators of Casino Luxembourg invite the participants to imagine a story around these sculptures and to complete it with personal anecdotes.
The aim of this collective project is to get to know each other and to celebrate the power of imagination, which makes it possible to approach the same subject from several angles and apply different readings to it. As the artist points out: ‘I like the idea that one thing can be several things at once, because this generates freedom and joy in the way we look at art.’

On the occasion of the Luxembourg Museum Days, ludovic hadjeras, artist in residence at Casino Display, has invited Jules Maillot and Kelly Weiss to collaborate on an editorial and brewing project.
The three artists invite you to discover and taste the results of this experiment. They worked from a centuries-old traditional smoked beer recipe, Steinbier (stone beer). This beverage has the particularity of being brewed with stones heated over a wood fire. The brew produced for Luxembourg Museum Days was heated using Luxembourg sandstone. This rock, inseparable from the local natural and architectural environment, was collected by ludovic hadjeras from buildings in the city, including Casino Display, as well as in the surrounding forests. The stones travelled to the French Drôme department where the brewing was carried out by Jules Maillot. Following these experiments, Kelly Weiss designed a screen-printed micro-edition to be wrapped around each bottle. It documents the various stages of the project, from harvesting the stones to brewing.
During the weekend, you are heartily welcome to talk with the artists about this brewing experiment, to take part in the silkscreen workshop and to attend an experimental brewing session.
