To mark the end of the first artist’s residency organised at the Casino Display, Andrea Mancini invites you to come and discover the research he has conducted over the last five months. Entitled New Age Landscape, his project offers various sound and visual experiments in the form of multidisciplinary installations, plunging the public into a world of ‘other spaces’, both material and invisible, infused with codes from the club culture, which are central to the artist’s journey.  

In the framework of his very first artist’s residency, Andrea Mancini’s work has spanned acoustic dichotomies together with a thematic and visual research. His experimentations at the Casino Display have taken shape as multidisciplinary installations touching the fields of video, 3D and scenography as much as those of sound and graphic design. They particularly lean towards topics such as access and no access, fluidity and interruption, and spaces within spaces. 

New Age Landscape took shape in situ, within the spaces of the Casino Display. These are not finished pieces in themselves, but rather, evolving material.

Andrea Mancini, born in 1989 in Luxembourg, is a musician, sound and visual artist and has collaborated musically with the ESP Institute in California, Hivern Discs in Barcelona and Kalahari Oyster Cult in Amsterdam.
