Sound Without Music – Visite guidée spéciale
With the curator Anastasia Chaguidouline
With Sound Without Music, Casino Luxembourg presents an exhibition and a series of activations focused on performance and the place of sound in contemporary creation.
The title is not so much an affirmation as an interrogation of the relationship between sound, art and music, and the way it evolves in recent artistic practices that intend to go beyond traditional categories to invest the interstitial fields between fiction, found footage, spoken word, soundscapes and distortion.
Anastasia Chaguidouline (1993, Bremen) is a curator based in Luxembourg. She studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (NL) and at Institut Kunst in Basel (CH).
