Béatrice Balcou – Untitled

The residency project Walk in Beauty by French artist Béatrice Balcou concludes the first series of ten artist residencies organised at Casino Luxembourg since 2010. Trained in the field of visual arts and dance, Béatrice Balcou is interested in exploring the gestures and details that make her works – the objects, their placement, the spaces and the resulting performances – intense. The structuring of space is also a very important element in her approach. Walk in Beauty is a moment of suspension and meditation in the midst of a relentless daily routine.
