Great Expectations
At a time when the world is shaken by the financial crisis, Great Expectations is freely inspired by Edward Steichen’s exhibition The Bitter Years (1961, Moma New York) on the crisis that hit the United States in the 1930s. Great Expectations evokes, through documentary or conceptual photography, the conflicting territory of the contemporary world as seen by reporters, photographers or visual artists of today.
