This publication, published in the context of the solo exhibition Theatre of Disorder at Casino Luxembourg in 2017, is the first retrospective monograph of the artist duo Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil that traces their most recent work. The work of Martine Feipel and Jean Bechameil seeks balance in the combination of seemingly contradictory ideas with simplification, abstraction and minimalist visual language on the one hand, and a reflection on the technological and alienating society of spectacle in which we live on the other.
