Cahier d'images – book launch

In an effort to give materiality (and duration) to images otherwise scanned with a quick scroll, graphic artist and designer Reza Kianpour launched "Cahier d'images" in 2017. Initially produced as a series of 16-page A5 notebooks containing mostly his own photos, the project soon evolved into something bigger. Reza felt compelled to open up the lens by collaborating with photographers, illustrators and designers from here and abroad. The result: a delicate setting between world map and personal moodboard.
Five years later, with a total of twenty notebooks under his belt, the book "Cahier d'images" was published. 64 pages instead of 16. In terms of collaboration, the ten names - to whom he offers six pages each - are handpicked.
The photos, in black and white, are in dialogue with each other, with the red thread being sometimes thematic, sometimes formal.
"Cahier d'images" is available in two versions: black hardcover and white softcover.
