Join us for a unique yoga class in the context of the Black Air exhibition!
Before the class starts, we will kick off the evening by a 15-minute focus tour in the exhibition. Then, in an extraordinary setting and in response to the works of Aldo Tambellini, Otto Piene, Ibrahim R. Ineke, Semiconductor, Ayako Kato, Max Kuiper, Lisa Slodki, and Hans de Wit, curated by Amelia LiCavoli, we will explore the idea of Earth as lung — connecting breath and movement to the vast galaxies and universes beyond.
This special session fuses Valérie’s (Mettā Yoga Luxembourg) movement practice with an ambient DJ set by Richard Heinemann, creating a powerful flow of body, breath, and sound.
The yoga class will take place in the Aquarium. Please bring your yoga mat and refillable water bottle as well as a couple of extra layers of warm clothes.
Mettælodie = Mettā Yoga Luxembourg + E-lodie
With nearly a decade of experience, Valérie — better known as Mettā Yoga Luxembourg — is a passionate yoga teacher and sound bath facilitator. Trained in Vinyasa, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Nidra, and with a deep love for the slow, introspective practice of Yin Yoga, she blends her diverse expertise into every class.
E-Lodie is a weekly music programme on Radio 100.7, in which host Richard Heinemann focuses on experimental and ambient sounds. It is broadcast every Saturday from 22:00 to 23:00.
